We boarded the Marco Polo at Tilbury with speed and efficency. Having sailed on her twice before, we were very disappointed to find the crew had changed and were inefficent due to the lack of staff (both cabin & restaurant) and not having good English language. conmunication was not good. The food was not the standard we had expected and beverages were not free of charge 24hrs a day. The best thing on the ship was the entertainment which we found first class. We would not travel on Marco Polo again.

Strongly agree. We found the itinerary and excursions excellent but the hotel aspects appalling. We were especially disappointed to find we had been bumped off first seating for dinner, which as far as we were concerned condemned us to dine in the Bistro - where the selection of wines was completely inadequate. The cabin, too, was poky and had inadequate hanging space, a dreadfully hard bed for my poor wife, rotten air-conditioning and disgusting lavatory paper. The crew (some of them) barely spoke enough English to understand what was aid to them. Roger Marjoribanks
