The main restaurant on the Marco Polo is the Waldorf restaurant where the food and service was extremely good, there was a fantastic variety, especially in the fish dishes. Wine prices were reasonable, although the beer prices were slightly more expensive.
Our cabin was an inside cabin and had been newly refurbished, the decor was cheerful and pleasing. There was plenty of wardrobe space and our cabin staff were very efficient and friendly.
The only excursion we did was to the North Cape, this was a little expensive, but certainly worthwhile. They were slightly lacking on shuttle bus services to the nearby villages/towns on arrival in ports.
There were plenty of activities on board, which were plentiful and varied. The evening entertainment on board was the very best we have experienced on any cruise up to now (7 cruises done already on other ships). We cannot believe how good it was, as good as any West End Performances.
All in all, a thoroughly wonderful cruise and we would certainly travel on the Marco Polo again.
